My fingers were really itching. I couldn't get to sleep, so I figured I'll come here, to blog about my wonderful birthday, spent with many many many lovely people. :)
Trust me. This is goanna be a SUPA LONG post.
I started my birthday, 12am sharp. Received a call from Silas, and he sang a "lovely" birthday song to me, which made me roll on the floor, and couldn't stop laughing.
Smses started to flood my inbox, and I was filled with high spirits. Stayed up till 3am, trying very hard to finish my essay booklet, and accompanied by Declan, JoannaHeng, and Michelle Tham on msnn :) And off I went to bed.
The bright morning, Mr. Sun woke the birthday Princess up, and again, she was in high spirits as she scootered off to go brush her teeth. Hurried, and got ready for school.
School was yea. Not really good. I was pretty much stressing over my workload the whole time. Stressing over the terrible portrait I drew of Cynthia, with my useless charcoal, and dirty black hands. (LISTEN. HEAR COMES THE INTERESTING PART.)
I was on my way to the washroom to get my dirty hands cleaned, until I saw Sab. Hit him on the shoulders, like always... and ehhhhhhhhhh. OMG. JOANNA HENG WAS THERE TOO. YEA. Standing there right at the corner, looking kinda shy. Yea. It was my immediate reaction. "OMG OMG OMG OMGGGG. AHHHHHHHH. AHHHHHHH AHHHHHHHHHH." (Yea, and then tears start to dribble down. Yes. Tears of JOY of course.)
:) You came here alone? Jo: Ya. Duhh? :) Omg. You rock! AHHHHHHH.
I got my stuff all packed up, and quickly went back to entertain sab, ken and joanna. Then Kenneth came up with a brillant idea. "Eh glad. Just now Immanuel showed me a supercool place in our school. Its super cool la, really.I'll bring you over and see." "Orh." (climbs up the stairs)"Where is it? I dont see anything." "Ya. Me too." "Ohkay here we are." "Huh. Here?? Where? Whats so cool?" "No no. Look down there." "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG." (then tears start to dribble down again.Yes, tears of JOY.)
Wanna see what I saw? THIS IS WHAT A SAW.
THERE! HALF OF REGION DEE AT MY SCHOOL COMPOUND, WITH COOLIO TOILET PAPER. :)))) HOW AWESOMELY COOL IS THIS? GOODNESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.
And where were the other half of the Region Dee people?
They were "waiting" for me at the yishun building. :) I was literally rushing like a mad woman, trying to not let my beautiful blue roses get flattened by my humongous file, and my helium balloons to fly awayyyyy, cause supposedly I was VERY LATE for my practice @ Yishun Building. But I guess I wasn't. :) Flunked the doors wide open, and poofffffffff, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUUU LALALALALA~" HOW SWEETTTTT. Did I mention that some of the RegionA maties, and some of my drama maties were there too? Arwwwww. So sweet right?
AND WAIT. IT ISN'T OVER.
Rushed back home right after my practice, and familysoh gave me a weird shocker, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" greeting at the very moment I stepped into the house. Had wonderful dinner. :) So I asked Mum. "Mummy. So where is my cake?" "Cake? You have so many cake already (points to Declan'scoffee bean mud pies), you still wanna have more cake??" "Huh. How can it be? No cake for me? And no candles for me to blow? CHEY!"
But yea, later they surprised me with the beautiful strawberry cake. :)
Nope nope. Not yet.... Theres still more.
*Ding dong. "Who's that?" "I think is Kor kor. Sureeeeelyy Kor kor." (open the door.) "KOR KORRRRRRR...." Ohkayyy.. Well, it wasn't my brother. It was KAHWAI AND FELICE. YEAAAAA. They came to my place specially to pass me my octopus. HAHA. Yea. The world's smelliest animal with eight armpits. :D
And then it was present time. Ive collected altogether, $$ today. I can hear like shopping calling for my name already. wonderful cards and gifts from my sis, Mum & Dad. :)
And I ended my day, with a call from my beloved brother who is in Navy. (And I thought he was going to be hometo surprise me, the whole time.) I told him I was uberly touched by his letter sent to home, just for me on my birthday. And I told him about how I thought my day was goanna suck, and how I started it feeling really moody in school, and how my beautiful churchmates cheered me up, and brighten up the rest of my day. I LOVE YOU ALL, REALLY.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank allllllllllll, who've called, smsed, tagged, friendster-ed, loved, hugged, kissed, laughed, played a part, and remembered this awesome day that has just passed. No doubt, it was the sweetest birthday ever. Even sweeter than sweet sixteen. :)
Ive been greatly touched, and I didn't expect myself to be tearing (for joy) so much today, and yea well, I did. :)
This day will be engraved in my heart forever. (Sounds cheesy but yea), I felt really loved, and remembered. Thank you thank you, thank you alllllllllll.
